Alison Hunter from Wellesley attended my classes for many years. She graduated from Colgate two years ago and is now working in Manhattan, NY. Below is one of her recent watercolors!

Anna
 |
Anna began classes with me when she was in 3rd grade and continued until she graduated from high school. She was always passionate about wild life , and her animal portraits quickly developed into detailed, delicate illustrations. I encouraged her to try all mediums, and she became quite proficient with colored pencils. Anna received an Art scholarship to the College of the Atlantic where she is now a junior. After spending the month of September studying and tagging birds on the Maine coast, she illustrated those birds in colored pencil and now has a show in the college gallery!

Hannah

Hannah Lawler from Wellesley began my classes in 3rd grade and continued through high school. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and won 3rd prize in a art competition there with her series of 3 house paintings. ( one shown below) Click here to visit Hannah's site and see her most recent work! Hannah is now working as in intern at an educational video game company making 3d characters. She says its a "dream job"! |
