Studio: 18 Reynolds Ave. Natick
Grouped by grade. (Eight week sessions from September through June) Offering small, interactive classes in the relaxed setting of my own studio. These classes are for children and teens ages 9-18 who love to draw, have demonstrated an interest in drawing realism, and want to develop their realistic drawing and painting skills. Classes are grouped generally by grade. While honing our observation skills, we will create realistic still lifes, landscapes and portraits from models and photographs. Through observation, students will learn to see objects with an artist's eyes and use values, color, line, proportion and effective composition to create beautiful realistic drawings and paintings with a variety of media including pastels, water colors and acrylics. This class is an opportunity for teens to develop their portfolios. 2022-2023 Schedule: Mondays 4:00-5:30 p.m., Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 Wednesdays 4:00-5:30 p.m. 7:00-8:30 Thursdays 4:00-5:30 p.m. Fridays-4:00-5:30 p.m.
