Summer Painting Class for Teens (Grades 7-12)
Students will learn fundamental techniques in painting realism while creating seascapes, landscapes and/or pet portraits. We will explore how colors affect one another and how to control color temperature and value to create perspective and form. Painting demonstration of pet portrait and seascape as well as technical guidance will be provided.
Location: T.Higgins Studio 18 Reynolds Ave. Natick
.Time: 10:00-11:30 Monday - Friday
Grades: 7-12
Class Size: Limited to 5

This is a great opportunity to develop that portfolio with drawings and paintings from life. We will review fundamental principles of drawing and painting while working from models and photographs that students select. A variety of media will be used.

We will work with a variety of media including pastels, acrylics , colored pencils and watercolors. All materials included .
